Not So Happy, Yet Much Happier

These paintings reference the sometimes, seemingly insignificant moments of childhood and daily life, through games, toys and travel. They are frozen moments in time, experienced originally as the everyday and later recaptured and immortalised through family photographs, videos and conversations.

What seems Happier, on reflection, may well be tainted by time, making the underlying stories either side of the events, Not So Happy.
